Labour law, special rights of employees and employers; characterized by the specific legal and economic conditions of workers.
The development of industry in European countries created a special status for the workers, whose economic and social situation was extremely unfavorable, especially at the beginning of the 19th century.
The intervention of the state took place at first only when the inadequacies were particularly pronounced.
